ZATTO is a personal app for saving and organizing links, images, notes, quotes, files, tags, and spaces. We design saved content to be private by default, but ZATTO uses accounts, cloud sync, link previews, AI-assisted features, support tools, and third-party infrastructure to provide the service.

We use information for the following purposes:

Local Storage and Cloud Sync

ZATTO may store data on your device for local display, offline behavior, preferences, authentication state, and performance. If you sign in or enable account/cloud features, saved content and related data may be synced to backend services so that it can be restored or accessed with the same account. Signed-in saved data is designed to be private to the account unless a feature explicitly provides sharing or export.

Deleting the app from a device may remove local data from that device, but it may not delete cloud-synced data. To request account and cloud data deletion, see Account and Data Deletion.

Link Previews and External Websites

When you save or refresh a URL, ZATTO may request that URL or related metadata through our app or server-side workers to create a preview. The destination website or its infrastructure may receive network requests from ZATTO's infrastructure or from your device, depending on how the preview is fetched. Preview results may be cached, and domain-level telemetry may be used to monitor preview quality and reliability.

Browser Extension

If you use the ZATTO browser extension, the extension may read the active tab's URL, title, selected text, description, preview image, and the note you enter, only when you open the extension and choose to save the current page. This information is sent to ZATTO through encrypted connections and saved to your ZATTO account so the page can appear in your inbox across devices.

The extension uses browser permissions only to authenticate you, read the active page you choose to save, store your local session, and write the saved item to ZATTO. We do not use browser extension data for advertising, credit decisions, resale, or unrelated tracking.

Google API Limited Use

If you sign in with Google, ZATTO uses Google-provided authentication information only to create and maintain your ZATTO account session and to provide the features you request. ZATTO's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

AI-Assisted Features

ZATTO may use external AI providers to generate tags, suggest spaces, or assist with organization. To do this, ZATTO may send limited fields such as a saved item's title, content snippet, URL, image URL, tags, and candidate space names to an AI provider. Do not save or request AI processing for information you do not have the right to process or that should not be sent to external service providers.

AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. We use AI features to assist organization, not to make legal, financial, medical, safety-critical, or other high-stakes decisions.

Third-Party Services and Processors

ZATTO may use third-party services for infrastructure, authentication, storage, app distribution, purchases, link previews, AI-assisted processing, support, email delivery, monitoring, and security. These providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Current or planned providers may include:

We do not sell your saved content. We may disclose or share information:

International Transfers

ZATTO and its service providers may process information in countries or regions outside your country of residence, including outside Japan. Privacy and data protection laws may differ by jurisdiction. We take reasonable steps to use providers and safeguards appropriate for the nature of the service and information processed.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide ZATTO, maintain your account, preserve saved content, comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, maintain security, and operate backups. Saved content generally remains until you delete it, clear local data, or request account deletion where supported. Support messages, deletion request records, operational logs, telemetry, and security records may be retained for a limited period or longer where required for legal, security, or dispute purposes.

Deletion, Access, Correction, and Other Requests

You may request deletion of your account and related data using the process described at Account and Data Deletion. You may also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, suspension of use, or other handling of personal information where applicable law provides such rights. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we may retain certain records where legally or operationally necessary.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including account-based access controls, backend security rules, private storage behavior, secure local storage where supported, rate limits, and operational monitoring. However, no service can guarantee perfect security, and you are responsible for keeping your account, device, and exported data secure.

Children

ZATTO is not intended for children who are not legally permitted to use online services without parental or guardian consent. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in a manner that violates applicable law, we will take appropriate steps such as deletion or account restriction.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as ZATTO, laws, or our processing practices change. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by a reasonable method such as posting the updated policy, updating the app, or contacting users where appropriate.

ZATTOは、リンク、画像、メモ、引用、ファイル、タグ、スペースを保存・整理するための個人向けアプリです。保存内容は初期状態でプライベートに扱う設計ですが、ZATTOはサービス提供のために、アカウント、クラウド同期、リンクプレビュー、AI支援機能、サポートツール、外部インフラを利用します。

ZATTOは、利用状況に応じて以下の情報を取得または処理する場合があります。

利用目的

当社は、取得・処理する情報を以下の目的で利用します。

ローカル保存とクラウド同期

ZATTOは、ローカル表示、オフライン動作、設定、認証状態、パフォーマンスのために、端末内にデータを保存する場合があります。サインインまたはアカウント・クラウド機能を利用する場合、保存内容および関連データは、同じアカウントで復元または利用できるようバックエンドサービスへ同期される場合があります。サインイン中の保存データは、共有またはエクスポート機能を明示的に利用しない限り、アカウント内でプライベートに扱う設計です。

端末からアプリを削除すると、その端末内のローカルデータは削除される場合がありますが、クラウド同期済みデータは削除されない場合があります。アカウントおよびクラウドデータの削除を希望する場合は、アカウントとデータの削除をご確認ください。

リンクプレビューと外部サイト

ユーザーがURLを保存または更新する場合、ZATTOはプレビュー作成のために、アプリまたはサーバー側のワーカーを通じて当該URLまたは関連メタデータを取得することがあります。取得方法により、対象ウェブサイトまたはそのインフラに対して、ZATTOのインフラまたはユーザーの端末からネットワークリクエストが発生する場合があります。プレビュー結果はキャッシュされる場合があり、プレビュー品質と信頼性の監視のためにドメイン単位のテレメトリを利用する場合があります。

ブラウザ拡張機能

ZATTOのブラウザ拡張機能を利用する場合、ユーザーが拡張機能を開いて現在のページを保存する操作をしたときに限り、アクティブなタブのURL、タイトル、選択テキスト、説明、プレビュー画像、およびユーザーが入力したメモを読み取る場合があります。これらの情報は暗号化された通信でZATTOへ送信され、端末間で見られるようユーザーのZATTOアカウントに保存されます。

拡張機能の権限は、ユーザー認証、ユーザーが選択して保存するアクティブページの読み取り、ローカルセッションの保存、ZATTOへの保存アイテム作成のためにのみ利用します。ブラウザ拡張機能から取得したデータを、広告、信用判断、再販売、または無関係なトラッキングには利用しません。

Google APIのLimited Use

Googleログインを利用する場合、ZATTOはGoogleから提供される認証情報を、ZATTOアカウントのセッション作成・維持およびユーザーがリクエストした機能提供のためにのみ利用します。ZATTOによるGoogle APIから取得した情報の利用および移転は、Chrome Web Store User Data Policy（Limited Use要件を含みます）に従います。

AI支援機能

ZATTOは、タグ生成、スペース提案、整理支援のために外部AIプロバイダーを利用する場合があります。このため、保存アイテムのタイトル、本文の一部、URL、画像URL、タグ、候補スペース名など限定された項目をAIプロバイダーへ送信する場合があります。ユーザーは、処理する権利を持たない情報、または外部サービスプロバイダーへ送信すべきでない情報について、保存またはAI処理を依頼しないでください。

AIの出力は不正確または不完全な場合があります。ZATTOのAI機能は整理を支援するためのものであり、法務、金融、医療、安全その他重要な判断を行うためのものではありません。

外部サービス・委託先

ZATTOは、インフラ、認証、ストレージ、アプリ配信、購入、リンクプレビュー、AI支援処理、サポート、メール配信、監視、セキュリティのために外部サービスを利用する場合があります。これらの提供者は、それぞれの規約およびプライバシーポリシーに従って情報を処理する場合があります。現在または今後利用する可能性のあるサービスには、以下が含まれます。

第三者提供・共有

当社は、ユーザーの保存コンテンツを販売しません。当社は、以下の場合に情報を開示または共有することがあります。

国外での処理

ZATTOおよび外部サービスプロバイダーは、ユーザーの居住国以外の国または地域（日本国外を含みます）で情報を処理する場合があります。プライバシーおよびデータ保護に関する法令は国や地域により異なる場合があります。当社は、サービスおよび処理される情報の性質に応じて、合理的に適切な提供者および保護措置を利用するよう努めます。

データの保持

当社は、ZATTOの提供、アカウント維持、保存コンテンツの保持、法令遵守、紛争解決、不正利用防止、セキュリティ維持、バックアップ運用のために合理的に必要な期間、情報を保持します。保存内容は通常、ユーザーが削除する、ローカルデータを消去する、またはサポートされる場合にアカウント削除をリクエストするまで保持されます。サポートメッセージ、削除リクエスト記録、運用ログ、テレメトリ、セキュリティ記録は、一定期間、または法令・セキュリティ・紛争対応上必要な期間保持される場合があります。

削除、開示、訂正、利用停止等の請求

ユーザーは、アカウントとデータの削除に記載された方法で、アカウントおよび関連データの削除をリクエストできます。また、適用法令に基づき、個人情報の開示、訂正、削除、利用停止、その他の取り扱いに関する請求を行うことができます。当社は、対応前に本人確認を求める場合があり、法令上または運用上必要な一定の記録を保持する場合があります。

安全管理

当社は、アカウント単位のアクセス制御、バックエンドのセキュリティルール、プライベートなストレージ設計、対応端末での安全なローカル保存、レート制限、運用監視など、合理的な技術的・組織的安全管理措置を講じます。ただし、完全な安全性を保証するサービスは存在せず、ユーザーは自身のアカウント、端末、エクスポートデータを安全に管理する責任を負います。

子どもの利用

ZATTOは、保護者の同意なくオンラインサービスを利用することが法的に認められていない子どもを対象としたものではありません。当社が、適用法令に反する形で子どもの個人情報を取得したことを認識した場合、削除またはアカウント制限など適切な措置を講じます。

本ポリシーの変更

当社は、ZATTO、法令、または情報の取り扱いの変更に応じて、本プライバシーポリシーを更新することがあります。重要な変更を行う場合、更新後のポリシーの掲載、アプリ内表示、ユーザーへの連絡など合理的な方法で通知します。
